Martin | Hild, P.A. (“the Firm,” “we,” “us”) operates www.martinhild.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you visit the Site, how it is used, and the choices you have.
This policy covers the Site only. It does not govern information the Firm receives in the course of representing clients, which is protected by the Firm’s professional obligations of confidentiality.
Information We Collect
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, our hosting provider receives basic technical information with each page request, including your IP address, the page requested, the date and time, the referring website, your browser and device type, and your approximate location derived from your IP address. The Site does not assign you a visitor identifier, does not collect the content of anything you type, and has no search, chat, or contact forms.
Information you choose to send us. If you email the Firm or use the Document Upload Portal, we receive the information you provide, such as your name, email address, and any documents you upload.
Cookies
The Site does not set cookies. We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, analytics tags, or session recording tools.
Service Providers
The Firm relies on these providers to operate the Site. Each processes information on our behalf under its own privacy terms.
- Cloudflare, Inc.: Website hosting and network delivery. Information involved: IP address and technical request data.
- Google LLC (Google Fonts): Supplies the typefaces the Site displays. Your browser requests them from Google’s servers, which receive your IP address and browser information. Google Fonts does not set cookies.
- Citrix ShareFile (Cloud Software Group): Document Upload Portal at martinhild.sharefile.com. Information involved: name, email address, uploaded files, and usage and diagnostic data collected by ShareFile and its analytics and support vendors.
The Document Upload Portal is operated by Citrix ShareFile, not on the Site itself. ShareFile’s own privacy policy governs the information it collects.
How We Use and Share Information
We use Site information to operate and secure the Site, understand overall traffic, and respond to people who contact us.
We do not sell personal information, share it for targeted advertising, or use it to build marketing profiles. We share information only with the service providers listed above, when required by law or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Firm or others.
Your Choices
The Site sets no cookies, so there are none to block or delete. Most browsers let you send a “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signal; because the Site does not use advertising or cross-site tracking, there is no further tracking for those signals to stop.
Security and Retention
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information involved. No website or internet transmission is completely secure. We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law and professional rules.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted, and the effective date above will be revised.
